    Ford advantage

Let's see here.....ever since Daytona I've heard the TV announcers and read all the reports that say Ford has this advantage with the FR9. To me, it got so bad that I thought maybe GM was putting the bug in their ears. After leading a total of 2 laps at Phoenx and a total of 23 at Vegas, where that Ford advantage was really supposed to show up, I'd like to think that we've heard the end of the B S. When Chevy runs roughshod over the field I don't hear or read of any horsepower advantage, only that their teams are better. The media makes me sick!

Expect Richard Childress to chime in on this and start begging NA$CAR for "help"...

There was still a lot of talk about the strength of the Fords after the race. On Victory Lane, it was mentioned that Roush Fenway had 3 cars in the top-5 with a chance to win at the end of the race, plus Bayne in the 21 back in 9th. They said that given the struggles of Jeff Gordon, and to an extent Kasey Kahne and Jr, that Roush was stronger than Hendrick at Vegas...

LOL....ya gotta love 'em. Ford led a total of 23 laps at Vegas whereas Junior led 70+ all by himself.....they can say what they want but those Fords DID NOT have a chance to win at the end. I saw two Chevrolets blister 'em on every restart at the end. There's little doubt in my mind that Chevrolet is "lobbying." The good news is that I don't think NASCAR is going to do anything. They haven't "singled out" any manufacturer for several years and I think they're satisfied with everything.

Kahne and Jr both contended for a top 5 until that final restart where all hell broke loose...
