Brian Vickers to Drive for MWR in 6 races

Brian Vickers has been named the driver of the 55 Aarons Toyota in 6 2012 Sprint Cup races. Vickers will drive the car in the races at Bristol Motor Speedway, Martinsville Speedway, and New Hampshire Motor Speedway.

As previously announced, Michael Waltrip will drive the car at Talladega, Daytona, and Kentucky. A driver has not yet been named for the races at Sonoma and Watkins Glen. Mark Martin will drive the remainder of the races this season.

Hope MWR doesn't mind tearing up a few cars! Especially since they're putting him in at the SHORT TRACKS!

Sadler...Vickers....there's GOT to be 'better' options out there.
How about giving a young rookie driver a chance rather than someone who's proven time and time again that they can't race at the top level?

Well, he did a good job at Bristol. Top-5 finish and led some laps ... I was impressed.

Yes, they have been strong. All 3 in the top-5 yesterday was very unexpected.
