How awesome is this news?!? Roger Penske runs a powerhouse operation, has loyal sponsors and is one of the most respected owners in the sport. Really exited that they will return to Ford next year!

And, this means Allmendinger back in a Ford too!

I don't like Keselowski, but, in a Ford, I guess I could tolerate him.

WOW!! did not expect that at all, wonder who will represent Dodge in NASCAR in 2013? That is a major addition. Good to see AJ will be back with Ford in no time. Happy to hear that, maybe they're looking to take advantage of that FR9 haha.

No Fords...just Chevy, Lotus, and Honda....I am hoping the come back to the series someday.
I just assumed that with Penske leading GM's return to IndyCar, a Chevy switch in NA$CAR wouldn't be too far behind...THIS was unexpected.

Being A FORD FAN I am looking for numbers. Good running numbers. I want Ford to be the Top Mfg at the end of the season and that can't happen when FORD has been so outnumbered by Chevy. We are getting there. SOON

Chip Ganassi will be next. He has got to be tired of playing second fiddle to the HENDRICK BUNCH and Richard Childress.

And, if he comes to Ford, where do you think he will rank? IMO, still 3rd or 4th. He will definitely be behind Roush and Penske, and probably behind RPM as well.

But to be honest Gibbs is the one I really want

Would be nice, but will never happen. I think he likes being the #1 team over in the Toyota camp. Now they are working with Toyota on engines and I think JGR is going to be a Toyota team for the foreseeable future.


I am pretty happy with having Roush, Petty, and Penske. Would like to see Roush back to 4 cars and Penske and Petty up to 3 each before we worry about expanding the camp again. JMO

Im just glad to see another top team in fords but I do wonder if dodge is getting out or will another team move to dodge?

Absolutely the best news Ford fans could get at this time. Penske has always been a class act, well respected and liked in the racing world. I'm really happy to have AJ back in a Ford and even though I didn't like Brad at first, he grew on me after he settled down and is no doubt a talented driver.....plus, both AJ and Brad are young. "Failing miserably" will not be part of the picture.

Your idea and my idea of powerhouse is hugely different if Penske is what you call a powerhouse.

I couldn't tolerate him if he were Ryan's boss blocking to protect Ryan for the championship while driving a Ford!

Let's see. Two cars in the Chase last year. 5 wins on the season. Not too bad.

He has full sponsorship on his cars. Roger is a highly respected member of the racing community. His team is going to be an asset to Ford Racing no matter what you call it - powerhouse, or otherwise.

Penske isn't like they were when Ryan was still there, they're performing much better now, both cars. I think it will be even better once they come back to Ford. Roger is going to see to it that Ford provides his team with the stuff they need to compete, bet on it.
