    Question?

    I was in the kitchen when I heard something Carl said after qualifying but I didn't get it completely. I was hoping someone caught it and tell me what he said about missing the pole because-----losing a possible few more seconds

    He got loose coming off turn 4 to the green, and said that made him be too conservative on his timed lap in turns 3 & 4.
