Not pulling for RPM, pulling for Allmendinger, Sadler & Ambrose

I'm to the point where I don't care what Kahne and Menard do this weekend. On one hand if they run strong, that's good for RPM (and great if they do), but I don't be pulling for or following either of them.

I'll be pulling for Allmendinger, Sadler and Ambrose for now (and anyone else we might add in the coming weeks).

I'm to the point where I don't care what Kahne and Menard do this weekend>>>>Those would be my sentiments exactly. One thing I would like to mention---Hey Mernard enjoy your best runs you have had in your racing career because they will end in 2011.

Next year will be 4 teams in 5 years. My honest to God take on him is he is a competent driver - maybe a little too set in open wheel ways. It seems like if they hit the setup, he is golden, but if he is equal to other cars out there, he shies away from racing. I don't know if it is because he knows that the perception is that daddy's money is the reason he is out there, so he doesn't want to press the issue, take a chance and risk alienating other drivers. It seems though like he is never racy. He is more likely to just let some one go and ride around if possible instead of pressing the issue and earning a spot.

It comes across as though he is more worried about not doing anything wrong than he is with taking a chance.

Maybe he feels like results aren't all that important, that his sponsor is going to be there regardless. Whereas other drivers have to go out and earn it.

Having said that, I still believe he was in the middle of his best year ever and has the ability (with the right team and crew chief) to be a consistent top 20 driver.

I think 99% of this is John Menard, he realy wanted Paul to go to RCR last year. He pays the bills .........so what Daddy says ....goes. I realy don't fault Paul JMO.

I may not fault Paul, I did like him but I wouldn't pull for him. I wouldn't pull for anyone who wasn't in a FORD. I still feel once a driver announces his attention of leaving a team that he is presently driving for, THAN HE SHOULD LEAVE. Whatever his intention are should have waited until the end of the season. JMO
