Well looks like the FR9 -not the ENGINE Doug thought it was!!!!!!!
Time to scrape the FR9 and start all over again but this time BRING IN ROBERT YATES. IMO doesn't show much improvement from the old engine but than I am a fan of the old engine. My rose colored glasses are rather cloudy and I realize that THE FORDS just can't keep up with the other mfg's. It's more than handling. The cars are SLOWER and just can't catch our competitors on the track. Of course this is JMO

There is still a lot of development to do on the motor in race conditiond. The new dodge engine had a lot of problems in the first year of comption.

Don't look now, but the Biff got the win
& commented on how well the engine ran. Hopefully this is what the team needed to get things turned around!

Haha, in all honesty I wasn't expecting the Fords to be contending for a win. They didn't have a great practice on Saturday & I was just hoping they would hang around the top 10 or so. I couldn't believe when Biffle kept stretching his lead for the victory.

and to think I miss it, but Speed will have a replay of the whole race this week. I'll be able to watch it without having a nervous breakdown. I NEVER THOUGHT ANY FORD WOULD END UP TOP 10 MUCH LESS TOP 5. I'm shock but ohhhhhhhhhh so happy.

The Roush Driver got into the chase with the OLD ENGINE and have LOST SPOTS IN THE CHASE with the FR9 engine. That is what I meant with my comments. I still think the old engine had the power but didn't have the Chassis to show or prove it.

Just took my CROW PIE out of the oven LOL
Now mind you I still won’t admit that the FR9 is better than the Old Engine till the FR9 can give me 9 wins in a season. Not asking to much CARL DID IT IN 2009 remember. OH AND LETS NOT FORGET IT WAS THE OLD ENGINE THAT PUT THREE ROUSH DRIVERS INTO THE CHASE. LETS ALL SEE IF THE FR9 WILL BE ABLE TO KEEP THEM THERE. We did lose some chase position since going to the FR9 engine but than it was a NEW ENGINE and needed some time to get it adjusted to racing.
