I'm a little disappointed in Kvapil so far

Other than one halfway decent run, I'm a little disappointed in Travis Kvapil over the first five races. I thought he would be a bit more competitive.

After having watched Gilliland with Yates and JGR, I wasn't expecting much out of him (and he hasn't done much) and I never heard of Conway before this season. So I didn't have any expecations for him.

Kvapil on the other hand looked like his star was on the rise when he got booted from his seat with Yates.

I would like to see him doing a little better than he has. I don't think he will ever be a top tier driver, but he has the chance to be solid.

I still tend to put more of the blame on the equipment than on Kvapil and Gilliland. I don't think the equipment is capable of running much better than they've been.

I think the equipment is only capable of running as well as they have so far this season, if you ask me.

Kvapil is by far the best of the three drivers, but as has been said, I think the equipment is just that bad. Kvapil had the 28 about 16-18th in points a few years ago, pretty good after how poorly the RYR cars ran the year before.

Yeah, I think his performance in the 28 a couple of years ago showed Travis can get it done if he has a good car.

Will they put David back into the #38 car now that qualifying has been cancelled. Conway will still be considered top 35

Doubtfully, since Extenze (Conway's sponsor is on the 38 already).

I think gilland should run really good on the road courses so we ll see how good the equipment is then cause if he can't run in the top 12 it must really be bad.

David did finish 2nd a few years ago when the Yates stuff was bad, so hopefully the equipment will be good enough for at least a decent finish.

I agree that I have been disappointed and that he should be solid. But as it has been said--the equipment is the major problem.

Today both Gilliland & Stremme made it in on speed so good job to the team. Does FRM & Latitude43 have any alliance other than their in the Ford Racing camp?

I don't believe they have any alliance (other than they both get some help from RFR).

I bet I know why you think they are related.

Bob Jenkins owns FRR and the 34

    Bill Jenkins owns the 26
