I'm going to try a different system for posting the standings this year... screenshot straight from Excel...

[BTW... racinfan will be joining us starting at Martinsville. His score will start at 50 points since he missed Bristol.]

I have a question Andrew? .... since Brian Vickers is out of the car for the rest of the season .... How will it be scored for anyone who had picked him for future races ?
Just curious.... he was one of my picks earlier this season.

My plan is to score Vickers as I would anyone else who was not in the race -- 50 points.

Or, do you guys think we should handle it differently since it is such a unique situation? I could score the 83 car (whoever's driving) in place of Brian when he is picked...

Any thoughts/preferences?

I would say to keep it simple- do the 50 points. It's the thing that seems fair with the rules.

Ya I read 308 too. Well DD is sitting pretty. TBO and I still have yet to take our Vickers medicine. So the three of us have lots of ketchup to do

Fixed the typo. :)

Yeah, I finally got back in it since I picked 2 winners in the past few weeks, but Vickers is going to hurt me. Good close battle though!

I didn't even pay attention to that! It's all coming down to Talladega for that one, then. Then three weeks to see if I can catch up (but looking at my picks, my chances are not good).

Question? Bill Elliott is out of the car at TX and I see RD picked him ... will that be scored like Vickers? ~just curious

Yes, if Bill isn't in the race, that scores 50 points.

Only 10 points separating the top-3! DeeDee and Dog will finish the season only 2 points apart (since they picked the same drivers), but can I close the 10 point gap?

This is a really close race considering we made all these picks WAY back at the beginning of the year!

I was just about to un-sticky this and I realized that I never posted the final results!! :eek:

I have had them calculated in Excel, and thought I posted! Oops!

Anyway, after much waiting, here they are:
