How would you rate the Food City 500 from Bristol today?
Overall, there was a lot of great racing and passing, but the finish was pretty predictable. Hate that the 48 won ANOTHER one.

I'm with you about the 48 winning. I CANNOT believe that he still managed to win this race when it looked over for him...
Overall, I'd give it a B. Would have been better if Jimmie didn't win.

B- That darn 48 car :-x along with Biffle's bone head move causing the "Big One" wrecking about 1/3 of the field :-x other then that there was good racing and passing.

I voted C.....it was average for me...and JIMMIE win his 3rd race out of 5 isn't helping either...
I was also getting pretty tired of the pre race chat about Carl and Brad and now kevin...I didn't turn raceday until there was 30 minutes left, and when I turned FOX on,I just concentrated on what I was doing on my computer, and getting my lunch ready...Theres so much more to talk about than Brad vs Carl vs Kevin..
As for Gregs "bonehead" move, nice block hey????? good thing that wasn't someone else in RFR...God knows where HE would be sitting today...enough said on my view on that "move"...

NO RADIO which means no contact with HIS SPOTTER. NOT BIFFLES FAULT---was not a BONE HEAD MOVE, NOR WAS IT MEANT TO BE A BLOCK:roll

I didn't see that as a bonehead move, that was just a racing incident. As a matter of fact Mark did the same thing to McMurray back in 2006 in the All Star Race when they were teammates. That can happen anywhere. And as it has been said he had radio issues so that just compounded the issue. What made it worse was the 2 cars got hooked together and even though Mark was on the brakes they didn't come apart til they hit the wall.

I agree completely with yatesracing and speedfan... just a racing deal... nothing intentional or stupid about it.

Racing deals ruin a lot of good runs...Oh well, D from me. Terrible finish really spoiled it for me, racing was mediocre.

Well, I probably should have used the term bonehead. I was still hot under the collar :-x and very disappointed that it ruined the run for many, especially Marcos. It was bad enough that he had 2 speeding penalties but had a good enough car and was recovering nicely. Could have had a top 5-10 finish which he really needs. If it's not engine problem it's getting caught up in the mess of others. Very discouraging! :(
Under any other circumstance I would have said WTG Bif..... ya got the 5 car ;)
NO RADIO which means no contact with HIS SPOTTER I heard that, which is why I said what I said. So it was a risky move. ~JMO

Just as a side note, if Marcos hadn't been speeding on pit road TWICE, he wouldn't have been back there to get caught up in that wreck. ;)

Yes he was bad with speeding but he really wasn't back "there". I think Biffle and Martin were running something like 4th and 5th. The only safe spot was P1-P3 ;)
Biffle takes a gamble, offers Martin an apology

It took out David too who was running pretty solid. That's two weeks in a row had a top 10 or 15 car and got torn up.
B+
JJ was the main problem, but of course I never got to see how it ended
