I always liked him when he was driving the Rensi 25 Marines car in NW ... glad to see him getting another shot.

I think they shut down in 2008, so no. He does not currently have anything to do with the team.

He has no part in the Rensi team anymore does he.

He was a part owner at one time of Hamilton-Rensi Motorsports. But, looking at their website, it looks like they have changed the name back to Team Rensi Motorsports, so it looks like Bobby no longer has a part in the team.

Homecoming for Hamilton; new sponsor onboard: With the new sponsor, Direct Auto Insurance on board, Bobby Hamilton Jr. will strap into his #6 Rick Ware Racing entry at the Nashville Superspeedway for the NASCAR Camping World Series Nashville 200 in front of a welcoming hometown crowd. "It's a big weekend for us. Nashville is always a special place for me. It seems like half the grandstand is either friends or family, and we've brought on Direct Auto Insurance as a new primary sponsor. I can't thank them enough for stepping up to the plate and making this weekend that much more special," Hamilton said. Success is no stranger to Hamilton Jr. at Nashville. With only 3 total starts in the truck series at Nashville, Hamilton Jr. has scored a pole, two 4th place finishes, and he has three top 5's in the NASCAR Nationwide series.(Rick Ware Racing PR)(8-2-2010)~

It's funny I used to hate him when he was winning in nationwide in 2003 but I think I overlooked how great he was for the series because now we don't see nationwide regulars win anything and I hope that NASCAR will bring that back next year.

That was back when Cup drivers didn't invade the series and throw a fit when a NW regular who is in contention for the title actually races them the same way they always race.
