Has NW been delayed or cancelled?

The race is in delay right now. The weather doesn't look good, though, so I don't think we're going to see any racing today.

NASCAR is targeting a 5:45 ET green flag right now... we'll see, but I don't think it's going to happen.

NASCAR is going to wait it out for a long time tonight, according to ESPN. Teams have to be in Talladega on Wednesday, so they don't want to race on Monday. Need to get it in today, so they will be hanging on for a WHILE tonight to try and make this race happen.

NASCAR has said they are willing to wait until 10 PM local Texas time to start the race tonight--the delay could last a LONG time before we know anything for sure.

Well, it hasn't stopped raining yet as of 5 local time. NASCAR says it will take 2-3 hours to dry the track. That means we're looking at an 8 PM local time start at the earliest. I think they'll call it soon--no way we race tonight.

POSTPONED

Nationwide race is scheduled for 9 PM ET tomorrow after the Cup race. (That is, if they are able to get the Cup race in!)

I'm home--- Andrew, that is your name right--- Got a question. Logical speaking why would Nascar, with only a little over an hour with an open window for practice not give it to Cup drivers. Nascar knowing full well, Cup practice would be called due to rain, not give that time to Cup Practice. That is the primary series. The MONEY MAKER. The series that counts for the CHASE (so I have been told). These Cup Drivers depend on fine tunning their cars for racing after qualifying. Due to THE CHASE this is an important step and only when there isn't absolutely no other way ,should practice be cancelled. I hate the chase but because of this they should be able to fine tune their cars AFTER QUALIFYING. Out side of HENDRICKS who seems to come of the haulers ready to race, the other teams don't seem to be able to achieve the same results. kINDA STRANGE, DON'T YOU THINK. Hendricks might be wellllll I won't say what I think Because i would be called a WHINER.

Just came back from the stores and just couldn't stop thinking "How does one Team come off the haulers every week ready to race" hmmmmmmmmm

When did you see a time today that they could have gotten on the track? I think it was pretty much a complete wash out today--there was no chance for anyone to get on the track.
