Side note: Points leader Carl Edwards and second-place Matt Kenseth have two of the worst average finishes among the Chasers at Martinsville: Edwards is 16.86, Kenseth is 15.83; only Kurt Busch is worse.

Who cares about that. As long as he finishes top 15, Carl is guaranteed to hold the points lead and then he goes to 3 of his best tracks.

Maybe it's time for their Martinsville luck to change. Not necessarily expecting to see either of them win this one, but a high finish would be about the same as a win, points-wise. Just bring the 99 & 17 home in the top 10 with all the fenders still on them. Sure, I'm worried too, but we don't drive the cars.
