Brandon McReynolds making ARCA debut: In addition to Chris Buescher, who nearly won this race one year ago, Larry McReynolds' son Brandon is making his ARCA debut on Sunday, as is Rick Ware Racing development driver Timmy Hill. McReynolds, who qualified a disappointing 14th after a near wreck, was nonetheless very excited about Sunday's race. "You get to run right up against the wall like Darlington, which is always a lot of fun," said McReynolds of his Salem experience to date. His #6 team spent the early part of practice working on getting the chassis up off the race track, while the young driver adjusted to the challenging high-banked oval. This is the first of at least two races for McReynolds, who unexpectedly found himself in the ESR seat. "It's really overwhelming. Eddie [Sharp] took a big chance on me to come up here and run me with hardly any funding. It's pretty impressive to see him take a shot on an 18-year-old kid who really hasn't proven himself. And we're going to run Talladega in a few weeks, so that's exciting. The Walk of Fame down in Talladega is going to be on the car, we're going to run the old #28 number, which is going to be cool with dad involved."(Fronstretch)(4-11-2010)

I watched the ARCA RACE and thought Roush has found himself another Driver who really looked good-- Chris Buescher. This kid never gave up. After getting involved in an accident(bady damaged)came back on the track quite a few laps behind fought his way back to only 3 laps down.
I think he had the car that could have won that race. This was a great race. RACING LIKE IT SHOULD BE.

OH I like Bryan Silas/Stuart FL Rockingham Speedway-PBG Ford
Bet your not surprised they happen to both be driving FORDS LOL

I didn't know it was on TV... stinks that I missed it. :( Oh well... I don't think Buescher drives for Roush though... Jack may be able to pick him up (if he had something for him to drive), but I don't think Roush is involved in ARCA anymore.

Here is another comment I found while reading about this weeks Salem race.

In addition, ApplianceZone.com and Sundberg Company will serve as co-sponsors for the Roulo Brothers #17 Ford driven by Roush Fenway development driver Chris Buescher. Buesher will start 6th in the Kentuckiana Ford Dealers 200, and is the youngest driver ever to win a pole award in ARCA, setting fast time in the spring event one year ago.

It would have done your heart good if you heard the commentaros yelling "Buescher is catching the leader, gets back another lap." well something like that. I'm telling you it was some exciting race. A lot of challenging going on and not only the front runners. Can't wait till the ARCA Texas race on Thursday

Fortunately, Jack seems to have a lot of promising drivers. Unfortunately, there isn't much available there to drive.

Judging by the performance of last year and the start of this year, I think the 6 Cup car may be soon available... :(

I agree but I hope not, but should that happen, I would think Colins will get it. (providing he gets rid of the bad luck riding on his shoulder)

I hate to say it, but I have to agree. David's had a few top 15s this year but had some tough look and poor finish. On Saturday, he was up to 12th near the end but fell off at the end. But still, got to step it up a lot.

I hate that they only televise about half the races. :(
Don't they have at least one dirt track race? I'd love to see that.

Thanks DeeDee for the ARCA Speed schedule. Glad Texas will be televised. That should be another exciting race. Salem was great.
