Did NASCAR make the right call by parking Jason Leftler for intentionally wrecking James Buescher in today's Nashville 300?

I say right call, it looked completely intentional. Jason said he didn't know if it was intentional.. how do you not know if it was intentional or not? That just leads me to believe even more that it was completely intentional.

I'm never gonna figure out the rules of "Have at it boys" looked intentional to me.
Unfortunately this will continue until some is seriously hurt. :eh:

I am glad Nascar parked him~No different than what Carl did to Brad..Of coruse he didn't flip, but the statement was the same.. I could see HIS nose growing right in front of the cameras...whatever...good job Nascar~

NASCAR made the right call for sure. Buescher didn't even hit Leffler on purpose the first time, so he really had nothing to get mad about in the first place. I think parking him was a deserving punishment.
It didn't look like Leffler had any intention of staying off of him

Will see if NW director announces any penalties today for Jason....

I hope not... I think parking him was penalty enough. I had the same belief about Carl's wreck, but they tacked on the probation as well... (personally, I think the probation was more meant to appease all of the people that were calling for Carl's head, and NASCAR wanted to at least give some penalty to make them feel like he wasn't getting away without consequences).

I think I read someplace that they did put him on a three week probation....so at least their being consistant...so far....LOL

NASCAR has placed Jason Leffler, driver of the #38 car in the NASCAR Nationwide Series, on probation for the next three NASCAR Nationwide Series events for a rule violation he committed during the race at Nashville Superspeedway on April 3. Leffler's probation will run until April 28 of this year. Leffler was found to have violated Section 12-1 (actions detrimental to stock car racing aggressive driving) of the 2010 NASCAR Nationwide Series Rule Book.(NASCAR PR)(4-6-2010)

i think they're just trying to stay consistiant like deedee said, we all know probation is pretty much nothing.....but if you remember in the homestead NW race denny got a 1 lap penalty for intentionally spinning out brad. parking leffler was the harshest part because he probably could've gained some points if he finished the race.

i just talked to my good friend that works on leffler's braun racing team & he said that jason could've gained like 8 or 9 spots had he just finished the race so yeah parking him was a fairly harsh penalty for the team in general, but i think the right call. i also heard leffler called in to "NASCAR now" & sounded regretful..........probably because he lost so many points, not that he wrecked the 1 car lol.

In most cases, you're sorry for getting in trouble/getting caught... not for what you did!
I think the penalty was fair--doubtful that he would have gained that many spots, though, because he had torn his car up too and would have had to go to the garage for MORE repairs.
