Watching it now,and WOW...Nice to see Jacks boys kicking some YOTA butt....Love how it took how many laps for Kyle to finally lead a lap...THAT WAS AWESOME....I am thinking a trip to a NW race in Nashville would be worth the trip..I LOVE THAT TRACK.....

I watched for a few laps, but I find the Nationwide series in it's current form extremly dull now that it is being dominated by just two drivers. And to call the current Nationwide series Ford COT cars Mustangs is absurd. They look nothing like a 2011 Ford Mustang and I doubt if they contribute much to Mustang sales on Monday. If I want to watch Mustangs race, I'll watch a road racing GrandAm event or the Continental Tire Challenge Series where they use stock Mustang Boss 302 sheetmetal and plastic and Boss 302 engines.

Michale you dont relize how much advertising ford gets out of it. The Daytona win was way more than anything they could have bought, I love the boss 302's and the road racing but you will never hear anything about those races it wont be on the sports it wont be in the local newspaper the driver wont be on elle or the late show or any other show. The ford bosses were very vocial about getting the mustang to victory lane and the want to bring it to cup in a year or two. No the sheet metal wont interchange but the decales make it look like a mustang I heard a 3 year old kid yesterday walk up behind carls car and he told his dad thats a mustang just by seeing the back end. He didnt really care if the sheet metal fit or not he knew it was a mustang. Half the people that go to races dont know anything about cars but I bet they all knew a ford mustang won yeasterday....

You got it right blueblood, who cares if the sheetmetal is interchangeable or not. It's all about ford getting exposure in racing, the casual viewer probably doesn't know (or care) about the details of what goes into the car. They just like seeing the competition between brands & or drivers. Like you said, all the boy knew is that a mustang won on Saturday.

OH Michael.....I am NOT a fan of CUP drivers in the NW series at all..But I do LOVE the racing at Nashville..As anyone on here can verify,I HATE THAT CARL AND KYLE AND BRAD DOMINATE THE NW SERIES....I was just amazed how much more HP Fords had over the YOTAs...That was awesome....

I'm with blueblood and jiggastyle! It's always good for FORD to have their car in victory lane. Doesn't matter what the sheet metal looks like. But, I must say, it does look a lot like a Mustang on the nose and rear bumper.
Congrats to Carl for raining on Kyle's parade.

I can see your point as I also like Road racing but NASCAR is what makes the headlines and sells cars.
They say that in NASCAR the fans know the names of all the drivers
In road racing the drivers know the names of all the fans.;)
